    Marvelous Mondays (2nd), Wonderful Wednesdays (K & 1st), and Thrilling Thursdays (K & 1st) are after-school clubs run by Ms. Henderson and Ms. Langhi. Activities include fun with outside games, art, seasonal activities, painting, building, & MORE! Develop new friendships, learn new skills through fun and interactive play, & develop a sense of confidence!

     

    The club will run throughout the school year with one session in the fall, winter, and spring. Each session meets one day per week (Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday) from 3:30-4:30. Spots are limited to 40 students per session!

     

    In December, we will offer a special session open to all students (K-4) called Holiday Painting. This one day painting event will be offered for several dates and will include a canvas and art making supplies plus a holiday snack.

  • POLICIES

    Important information and policies

    COST

    The cost is $200 per session (MM, WW, OR TT) payable via Venmo or by check.

     

    Payment is due by the start date of the session to hold your child's spot. See dates above for each session's start date.

     

    Refunds will not be made after the start of the session outside of extenuating circumstances.

    PICK UP

    Promptly at 4:30PM outside of Ms. Henderson's exterior door (2nd door up from the gym).

    *If your child will be going to aftercare following our club, please let us know. In addition, please notify us if your child will be carpooling with another family.

    LOCATION

    Students are to wait in their classroom during dismissal. Dismissal for clubs will be made over the announcements when car rider duty is over. Students will walk to Ms. Henderson's and Ms. Langhi's rooms when they are dismissed.

    WHAT TO BRING

    We will provide a light snack but your child will need to bring a water bottle to drink during snack and after outside games as we do not have water fountains this year.

    ATTENDANCE

    If your child is unable to attend a session due to illness or other obligations, please email us prior to the start of the session.

    WEATHER ISSUES AND CANCELLATIONS

    In the case of inclement weather, we will follow MNPS guidance. If clubs are cancelled for any reason, we will notify you via email as soon as possible.

    STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

    For the safety and enjoyment of all children, appropriate behavior is required. Appropriate behavior is that consistent with proper behavior expected in any classroom at JG.

     

    A child displaying disruptive or inappropriate behavior will be asked to sit out of activities until dismissal. Parents will receive an incident report. Children who receive a second disruptive behavior report will be required to withdraw for that session. In this case, refunds will be made in the amount of $15/remaining weeks in the session.

    MASKS AND COVID-19 POLICIES

    All participants are expected to wear a mask as the club takes place on school property.

     

    The same COVID-19 policies regarding illness are in place during after-school events.

     

    Please notify us if your child tests positive for COVID-19 or has COVID-like symptoms that are keeping them out of school.

     

    If MNPS suspends all after-school activities due to COVID-19 cases, session fees will be refunded in the amount of $15/remaining weeks in the session.
